Universities have traditionally used standardized tests to assess potential employees or students, without evaluating the human skills that differentiate people from one another. human skills (such as wisdom, emotional intelligence, and initiative), as opposed to technical skills, are not taught or promoted in schools, so the value of human skills is vastly underappreciated, particularly as young adults prepare for university and enter the workplace. However, it is these human skills that are vital in the transformation of our digital lives today and will be increasingly important as technology gets more capable of fulfilling repetitive tasks.
